Welcome to Quetzal. Among many things Quetzal is a coffee roaster devoted to the purchase of green coffee from sustainable sources. In the not to distant past we were mainly an organic and fair trade roaster. We recently decided to end our certification as a 100% organic coffee roaster to allow us to participate in different alliances. We will continue to purchase organic coffee, fair trade coffee and any other coffee that meets our goals of a coffee produced by individuals for sale to real people.

While we will no longer label our coffee as organic or fair trade we are committed to the purchase of these coffees as well as any other sustainable coffee or environment tree and people hugging coffee.

Quetzal does maintain copies of all organic and fair trade green coffee purchase where and when possible.

All online orders ship from Memphis Tennessee. Coffee for our San Francisco store as well as all other coffee orders originate from Memphis Tennessee.
